Access & Belonging
The timeline expands by asking whose contributions deserve to be made visible.
Case study / P114
History translated into collectible character, package, and augmented artifact.

The project
Students researched people whose choices shaped a timeline, then translated that research into a stylized figure and a complete packaging system. A later extension brought the characters into 3D and augmented reality.
Essential question
“How can product and character design make a person’s impact on history tangible?”
Project architecture

Learning made visible
The timeline expands by asking whose contributions deserve to be made visible.
Each student selected a figure and developed a distinct visual argument about their legacy.
Research became a complete object with the constraints of character and package design.
Shared critique and production milestones strengthened many individual interpretations.
Exhibition
A timeline of figures, packages, research, and AR models reframes the gallery as a collective history.
