Access & Belonging
The campus was treated as a shared civic place whose design determines who can participate.
Case study / P063
A future campus designed through systems, place, identity, and pitch.

The project
Students worked at the scale of a neighborhood: proposing future learning environments through masterplanning, architecture, identity, requirements, budgets, and exhibition. The project joined speculative imagination to the practical language of a design proposal.
Essential question
“What should a place for learning become when we design it around the future rather than the past?”
Project architecture
Learning made visible
The campus was treated as a shared civic place whose design determines who can participate.
Teams developed different parts of one environment through their own design lenses.
Speculation was disciplined by site, program, cost, and proposal constraints.
Individual buildings had to become one legible neighborhood and one persuasive plan.
Exhibition
Models, plans, identities, and proposals assembled into one walkable vision of a future campus.
